- PEI put on an impressive defensive performance against Manitoba, stifling them on a windy day in Conception Bay South. Team Captain and player of the game, Addie Langley, headed home a 43rd minute corner to give PEI the lead. PEI controlled play the rest of the game and sealed a huge victory.
