  • Men’s baseball faced Team Nova Scotia this morning in their third game of the week. They shut down Nova Scotia’s offense and were able to bring in 4 runs to take a 4-0 win.

  • Women’s Rugby started the day with a strong performance against Team Manitoba only allowing one try against for a final score of 22-5.

12:30 Softball (W) – PE vs SK

  • Women’s Softball faced off against team Saskatchewan losing 11-4. Next up is Team Nova Scotia at 4:00pm.

12:56 Rugby 7’s (M)PE vs NL

  • Men’s rugby faced the host in a hard fought rugby match. The game came down to the final seconds and Team PEI fell short in a 17-12 game.

1:00 Basketball (M) – PE vs NL

  • Team PEI men’s basketball faced off against the host, Team Newfoundland and Labrador and fell short by a few baskets for final score of 87-77.

1:00 Basketball (F) – PE vs NS

  • At the halfway mark Team PEI led team Nova Scotia by a mere 2 points at a score of 37-35. In the second half team NS pulled ahead and took the win with a score of 83-68.

2:00 Box Lacrosse (F) – PE vs MB

  • Female Lacrosse was in tough against a quick and aggressive Team Manitoba. Manitoba scored 6 in the first, but PEI held them there for the second. After the 3rd period of play the final score was 12-0 for team MB.

2:00 Tennis – PE vs NL

  • Team PEI wraps it up with s 4-2 win over Newfoundland. Full results can be found here.

4:00 Softball – PE vs NS

  • Women’s softball wins 11-1 over NS. PEI bats started hot and continued throughout the game. The girls were aggressive on the base paths and were rewarded with runs! Big win for the girls.

4:24 Rugby 7’s (W) – PE vs BC

  • Women’s rugby lost in the quarter finals 40-0 to BC. They played hard and slowed them down in the second half.

18:00 Swimming – Finals

Team PEI swimmers made another splash in the pool on day 4 of the 2025 Canada Games. Veronica MacLellan earned another bronze medal for Team PEI.

  • Men’s baseball remains undefeated after a 10-8 victory against the home team, Newfoundland and Labrador. They will face BC next, with the winner advancing to the semifinals. The losing team will move to the quarterfinals.

8:00 Box Lacrosse (W) – PE vs NB

  • Team PEI women’s box lacrosse falls short to New Brunswick with a 1-0 score.
