About

Since 1967, Islanders have represented Team PEI at the Canada Games — a national, multi-sport event alternating between summer and winter competitions every two years.

The Games have been hosted in every province and territory across the country, and over 6,000 Islanders have taken part. For many, it’s a milestone in their athletic journey. For others — like Alysha Corrigan, Hannah Taylor, Heather Moyse, Dave “Eli” MacEachern, and Kara Grant — it was a stepping stone to Olympic and world-stage success.

Team PEI is governed by the Provincial Canada Games Committee Inc., a not-for-profit organization that sets policies and procedures for PEI’s participation in the Games.
